Overview
Expanding his scope beyond national borders, Saad Zahid has also explored cultural and architectural heritage sites abroad. His international research includes field visits to historic cities in Malaysia and Sri Lanka. In Malaysia, he studied colonial quarters in Penang and Kuala Lumpur; in Sri Lanka, he focused on the architectural history of Colombo. These explorations have given him insights into the shared legacies of religion, colonialism, and artistic traditions across different cultures. This global perspective deepens and broadens his understanding of heritage conservation.
